In compliance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), we explain which cookies and similar technologies oryx3d.com uses, what they are for and how you can accept them, reject them or withdraw your consent at any time.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. It allows the website to remember information about your visit (for example, the contents of your cart or the language you chose) so that it works properly, remembers your preferences or obtains usage statistics. There are similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), that work in a similar way; in this policy we treat them in the same way as cookies.
2. Types of cookies
By who manages them:
- First-party cookies: sent from the oryx3d.com domain. They are managed by Shopify, the platform on which the shop runs, on behalf of the owner.
- Third-party cookies: sent from a domain that is not ours and managed by another entity.
By purpose:
- Technical or necessary: essential for the website and purchases to work (cart, checkout, security, language and country). They do not require consent.
- Preference or personalisation: remember options you choose so that you do not have to repeat them. If they are not strictly necessary, they require consent.
- Analytics or measurement: allow us to count visits and understand how the website is used in order to improve it. They require consent.
- Advertising or marketing: used to show advertising and measure its effectiveness, sometimes by creating a browsing profile. They require consent.
By duration:
- Session cookies: deleted when you close the browser.
- Persistent cookies: kept for the period indicated in the table or until you delete them.
oryx3d.com currently does not use third-party advertising tools (such as Google Ads, Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel) or Google Analytics. The only analytics and advertising cookies are those of the Shopify platform itself listed in the table, and they are only activated if you accept them.

Embedded third-party content: the home page displays posts from our Instagram account (via the Socialwidget Instafeed app) and Google reviews of our business (via the Google Reviews Rocket app). These modules load content from their providers' servers; in our review they do not set their own cookies in your browser. If you click a link to Instagram, TikTok or Google, you will leave our website and the cookie policies of those platforms will apply.
4. How to accept, reject or withdraw your consent
- Cookie banner: the first time you visit the website we show you a banner with the options Accept, Reject and Manage preferences. Analytics and advertising cookies are only activated if you accept them. Rejecting them does not prevent you from making a purchase.
- At any time: click the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. The panel will open again so that you can change or withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
- From your browser: you can view, block or delete cookies and local storage. If you block technical cookies, the cart or checkout may not work.
We store your choice for a maximum of 1 year (in the _shopify_essential cookie). After that period, or if you delete your cookies, we will ask you again.
5. International transfers
Shopify provides its service to European shops through Shopify International Limited (Ireland), and this shop's data is hosted in the European Union. Some data may be processed in Canada or the United States by Shopify group companies and their sub-processors; these transfers are covered by the safeguards of the GDPR (European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses). The providers of the embedded apps (Socialwidget Instafeed and Google Reviews Rocket) may process technical data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.
